  1. Get the pop tarts flavor you would love to take whether frosted and unfrosted. Take the pastry out of the foil and place on a microwave-safe plate.
  2. When heating multiple tarts, place a maximum of four tarts on the microwave-safe plate and heat at intervals till you have all your tarts warm.
  3. Set the microwave on high and place the microwave-safe plate in the microwave to heat for 10 seconds.
  4. If unfrosted, allow to heat for two seconds and check to see if it’s done to your satisfaction. If not, add a couple of seconds to get the desired end result. Avoid getting distracted at this point as the microwave heats very fast and you surely don’t want a burnt pop tart.
  5. Remove the microwave-safe plate from the microwave and allow the pop tarts to cool before serving them. At this point, they are usually very hot and can cause burns.
